Interview with Micol Piana

Service digital & schooling coordinator

How is the Service progressing from an "innovative" viewpoint? What new experiences can dealers and dentists look forward to from an integrated system perspective?

“Firstly, for dealers and end users alike, we can expect to see digital services that create ever-increasing expertise in digital workflows.

Against this backdrop, we’re implementing a new software license management website to make innovation-focused product upgrades available. This ongoing project involves the provision of direct services to end users; agreed on with dealers, these aim to transfer know-how in terms of both usability and daily operational support.

Last year, instead, we developed and launched an LMS (Learning Management System) website that offers technical training for dealers using new remote methods. Launched in 2022, the system officially became operational in 2023. It provides a state-of-the-art, well-organised framework unlike other systems found in competing companies.

Ever-growing sales volumes and greater technical/organisational complexity have led us to adopt a total learning approach involving the publication of constantly updated technical training packages. Moreover, through the provision of preliminary training we’re able to assess our dealers’ basic skills, transfer technical info in advance and thus free up time for training on more product-related topics.

After initial basic training, the second step delivers a hands-on learning experience at Cefla, with optimisation of effective training days and overall scheduling. This ensures training focuses on topics such as troubleshooting in a much more interactive, participatory manner.

The third step involves continuous training in e-learning mode to keep pace with new and upgraded features.”
